White Brickies Sand
Brickies Sand (also commonly known as “Fatty Sand”) is excellent for use in bricklaying and block-laying applications. Thomson Landscaping’s white bricklaying sand provides a brighter joint finish than yellow brickies sand.
Due to its higher silt and clay content, brickies sand is easier to mix and work with, and provides a stickier mortar for masonry joints. It also offers good water-repelling properties.
White Fatty Sand is great for;
- Brick-laying.
- Block-laying.
- Applications where brighter joins are desired.
White Brickies Sand is available in bulk, 20kg bags, and bulker bags (on order).
If you are interested in a creamier coloured sand for darker joins, try our Yellow Brickies Sand.
*All sands are naturally occurring products and variation may occur from batch to batch. Typically, colour and texture are common within each batch. We recommend buying and storing the whole amount required for any given project in order to avoid colour and texture variance.
